The outer fabric is a wonderfully soft organic cotton damask for durability and easier cleaning, while adding an elegant touch. Wool is comfortable all year long because of its insulating qualities. Air is trapped between the wool fibers for lightweight comfort and warmth. Wool is also naturally dust-mite resistant. The wool used to fill these comforters is from organically raised sheep without antibiotics, hormones, or other chemical treatments and certified organically processed by Oregon Tilth. No purer wool exists. All testing is done in a third party lab. Comforters are warrantied for 1 year against manufacturer defects. Comforters arrive completely protected and sealed in food grade polyethylene to retain purity.
