Birch Shadows is a fine example of native Canadian artist Eve's talent. Eve began her education in creative arts and ventured into design. Restricted by the technical aspect of linear design, Eve fell back on her creative side where she was able to paint without limitations. She integrated her knowledge of form and space with vivid color and texture, allowing the viewer to capture her unique perspective. She then combines the use of rich color with bold pattern to complete the effect of design and space. Our artisans have translated her original into 100% cotton, woven textile art for your home. Available in three sizes.
Each fine art tapestry is handcrafted by skilled Artisan Weavers in USA textile mills using between nine and eighteen miles of thread. The tapestries have a 3" Rod Pocket sewn into the top to allow for a tapestry rod for hanging. Or, forego the use of a hanging rod altogether, and display your tapestry directly on your wall using handsome, decorative furniture tacks to hold the tapestry in place (this seems to be a new modern trend). The combination of the thread colors and weaving creates a unique art experience that changes with each viewing angle. It draws the viewer into the depth and texture of the image while adding an acoustic elegance to any room decor.
