Artist L Baines was raised in New York City, surrounded in an atmosphere of art. Baines traveled through Argentina and Brazil, developing a love of South American art, culture, and lifestyle. Her experiences there had a great influence on her paintings, especially her earlier works. Much of her inspiration was also found in her appreciation of architectural homes, and the use of classic modern art to accent those dwellings. Paintings that brought light, color, and abstraction to linear spaces. Casual Moments is an excellent example of these influences, using bold, yet muted colorscapes to bring warm swatches of color into your living space. Available in three sizes.
Each fine art tapestry is handcrafted by skilled Artisan Weavers in USA textile mills using between nine and eighteen miles of thread. The tapestries have a 3" Rod Pocket sewn into the top to allow for a tapestry rod for hanging. Or, forego the use of a hanging rod altogether, and display your tapestry directly on your wall using handsome, decorative furniture tacks to hold the tapestry in place.
